Refund Policy

Fair refunds, stated plainly. If we don't deliver what we promised, you get your money back.

Platform-failure guarantee

If Ayiti Bèl does not launch publicly by December 31, 2026, every Founding Patron purchase is refunded in full, automatically, to the original payment method. You do not need to ask.

Refund terms by product

Founding Patron · $49 lifetime 30-day refund

Full refund within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email hello@ayitibel.com with your order ID. We process refunds within 5 business days. Funds land in your account per your bank's standard timeline (typically 3–10 business days).

Patron monthly subscription Cancel anytime

Cancel in your account settings at any time. You retain Patron access through the end of the paid period. Pro-rata refunds are not issued for partially used monthly periods.

Patron annual subscription 14-day refund

Full refund within 14 days of purchase if used fewer than 3 days of access. After 14 days, we may offer a pro-rata refund on unused full months at our discretion, less any bonus perks already delivered (e.g., printed annual report).

Archive subscription 7-day refund

Full refund within 7 days if you have downloaded fewer than 5 full-resolution assets. Not eligible after any significant use, to protect photographer revenue share.

Press syndication licenses Non-refundable

Third-party press syndication fees are non-refundable once the license is issued, because royalties are immediately allocated to the photographer. Disputes handled case-by-case.

How to request a refund

  1. Email hello@ayitibel.com with your order ID and the reason (the reason is optional for Founding Patron, helpful for other tiers).
  2. We respond within 2 business days with confirmation and the expected refund timeline.
  3. We issue the refund to the original payment method within 5 business days of confirmation.
  4. Your bank receives the funds per their standard posting timeline (typically 3–10 business days).

When we may decline a refund

In all cases, rights granted to you by mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction remain unaffected by this policy.

Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your card issuer before contacting us, your account may be suspended pending resolution. We encourage you to reach out first; refunds are faster than chargebacks and less costly for both of us.
